Local Teamsters Donate to the Winona Area Humane Society

(KWNO)-Teamsters Local 120 raised funds and fun for the Winona Area Humane Society in June when they held the Minnow Races at the Leighton Broadcasting Winona Craft Beer Tour. A $1.00 donation to the WAHS allowed each participant to race a minnow. The Teamsters Local 120 matched all proceeds generated from the event for a total donation of $276.00 to the WAHS.

WAHS staffer Erica said, “This is a difficult time in the animal rescue world right now, so our organization is extremely grateful for the thoughtful donation (from Teamsters Local 120)!”
