(KWNO)- On October 1st at 1:17 p.m. Winona Police responded to a call for an intoxicated adult walking around the neighborhood, fully nude.
Upon arrival to the 450 block of E 5th Street, Officers discovered 30-year-old Brett Williams, of Winona, to be laying in a yard with just his boxers on.
According to police, prior to officers showing up at the scene, Williams was screaming for anyone that would want to fight him and Williams admitted to being fully nude before officers arrived.
Once officers arrived, Williams went from saying “How many officers want to fight,” then proceeded to break down in hysterics, begging the Officers for help.
Winona Police say that Williams was not only drunk but due to his actions, believed that Williams was also strung-out on a controlled substance.
Neighbors that witnessed the incident claimed Williams was naked, belligerent, and asking his neighbors to fight.
Williams was taken to Winona Health instead of jail due to his emotional instability. However, Williams is still charged with indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, and obstruction.
Williams is not in custody but was referred to the District Attorney’s office.
