The Same Woman That was Arrested for Stealing $3,000 Worth of Merchandise from Wal-Mart, On the Hook for Stealing $2,000 Worth of Merchandise from Target

(KWNO)- A theft report was filed with the Winona PD saying that a Woman stole $2,200 worth of merchandise from Target on Sept. 15th.

The culprit is identified as 22-year-old Carly Polak, who is the same criminal that recently stole $3,000 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart, just days after the 15th.

According to police, Polak once again grabbed a cart and filled it with mostly electronic items that included Ring Doorbell Cameras, Amazon Alexa’s, and more electronic items that carried a value of at least $100.

Polak then began to walk towards the exit of the store where employees attempted to have her check out, but she evaded them. There was one employee that asked for a receipt check at the door after noticing there were still security tags on most of the items.

Polak claimed that she had already paid for them and walked out of the store, regardless of employee attempts to stop her.

Polak is not currently in custody according to one Winona PD official but she does have a total of three felony theft counts to her name.
