
WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-COVID-19 cases are being blamed for the cancelation of three Great River Shakespeare Festival preview shows.
In an email, festival organizers announced the first previews of Twelfth Night, scheduled for Saturday, June 18 and Wednesday, June 22, and The African Company Presents Richard III, set for Sunday, June 19, have been canceled. Officials say they had to pause in-person work for at least two days during the technical rehearsal process.
Ticket holders for the affected performances will be contacted and can also call the box office at 507-474-7900 to discuss an exchange or refund of their tickets.
