75th Annual Steamboat Days Underway

WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Fair food, live music, carnival rides and more have returned to Levee Park for the 75th Annual Steamboat Days.  

Events are set Wednesday through Sunday. Festival-goers can check out stunt dogs, meet and hear the Marine Forces Reserve Band and more. Festival staples such as the kids fishing contest, BK5K, softball and volleyball tournaments and Kiddie Parade are also part of this year’s events.  

The car show also returns on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Winona.  

The 75th annual Steamboat culminates with fireworks and the Grande Parade on Sunday. Harbormaster Fred Benning said he’s looking forward to all of the events but especially the parade. 

“Our parade is unique. We don’t allow certain units in, politicians or whatever, it’s an entertainment-only parade,” Benning said.
