AUSTIN, Minn. (KWMN)- For the second season in a row, the MSHSL State Softball Tournament will feature the Winona Winhawks.
The top-seeded Winhawks clinched their second straight section title thanks to a 4-1 win over Kasson-Mantorville at Todd Park in Austin on Thursday. Winona did not drop a single game in the double-elimination tournament.
The single-elimination state tournament runs June 9-10 in North Mankato. The Winhawks fell in the state championship game last year.
