WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Winona’s Habitat for Humanity ReStore is holding its first-ever Earth Day Art Show.

Community members are invited to visit the ReStore during its business hours to check out pieces submitted by local artists. The submissions were made from recycled or reclaimed materials, which aligns with one of ReStore’s core missions.

“Since we have opened our store in 2003, we’ve kept four million pounds out of the landfill,” Habitat Community Engagement Coordinator Jessi Darst said. “We are committed to reusing goods that still have some life in them. This is just another way to really promote that message of how can we reuse goods and keep our earth just a little bit cleaner.”

The art show will be on display until Saturday, April 23. Those attending are encouraged to vote for their favorite pieces to determine which artists will receive a ReStore gift card.

The ReStore’s hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
