BUFFALO TWP., Wis. (KWNO)-Two people were injured following a motorcycle crash in Buffalo County over the weekend.
Emergency personnel responded to County Rd. M near Buffalo Township around 6:30 p.m. Saturday. The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office says both passengers were located roughly 30 yards off the roadway and had suffered significant injuries.
The operator, 32-year-old Matthew Dolle of Fountain City, was unresponsive. His passenger, 38-year-old Heidi Bagniewski of Cochrane, was responsive. Both were transported to Winona Health via ambulance. Authorities say Medlink Air responded to Winona Health for both occupants.
Investigators suspect speed and alcohol were contributing factors to the crash.
