WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Four of the six Republicans running for the party’s gubernatorial nomination will be in Winona this week.
Winona State University College Republicans will host Senators Paul Gazelka and Michelle Benson, Dr. Neil Shah, and former Lexington, Minn. Mayor Mike Murphy for a debate at Harriet Johnson Auditorium in Somsen Hall on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Candidates are set to answer policy-related questions ranging from economy, unemployment rates, and safety.
The event is free and open to the public. Anyone interested in having the candidates answer a question can email the Winona State College Republicans at wsucrclub@outlook.com.
