Early Morning Fire Engulfs Part of Anova Furnishings

WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Winona firefighters spent the early morning hours Monday fighting a fire that had broken out at Anova Furnishings.  

Firefighters responded to the business at the 1100 block of East 8th St. shortly after midnight on Monday. No injuries were reported and firefighters were able to contain the blaze before sunrise.  

Crews were still on hand performing overhaul operations as of 8 a.m. Monday. The FD said the fire engulfed a large portion of the building, which caused substantial damage   

The FD responded to an attic fire on the same property Saturday morning. That fire caused moderate damage to the impacted area.  

The fires are under investigation.
