WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-The demolition of one historic building has prompted the temporary closure of another in downtown Winona.
The Winona Public Library will be closed through Friday as crews continue with the demolition of the auditorium next door. Library officials plan to reopen the building at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Staff say all items on hold will be extended for the duration of this closure, and no fines will be charged on items borrowed from other libraries.
