WILSON TWP., Minn. (KWNO)-Two Winona residents were hurt following a two-vehicle crash in Winona County Saturday evening.
The state patrol says 18-year-old Caylee J. Kjos was traveling south on Hwy. 43 and a 17-year-old girl was headed north on 43. Troopers say the two vehicles collided head-on at the intersection of 43 and Pine Tree Ln.
Both drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Kjos was taken to Winona Health for further treatment and the 17-year-old was not transported.
The patrol’s report says it’s unknown in Kjos was wearing a seatbelt. The 17-year-old was buckled.
The report says there was snow and ice on the road at the time of the crash.
