WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Area students in grades 9-12 are invited to partake in an essay contest sponsored by the Winona Human Rights Commission.
Students are asked to center the essay around answering one of four questions that involve discrimination. The top prize is $100 with $50 going to second place and third place receiving $25.
Entry forms have been sent to local schools and are available on the City of Winona’s website. The deadline to submit an essay is March 25.
