WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Winona County Sheriff’s Deputy Chad Meyers is in a league of his own when it comes to DWI arrests.
He was recently recognized for being named a Minnesota DWI All-Star for the 10th consecutive year. The sheriff’s office says that’s believed to be the longest streak in Minnesota.
Meyers received his 10th bat from the Minnesota Office of Traffic Safety for making the state’s DWI All-Stars. He also was awarded a hockey stick for the DWI Hattrick, which goes to officers who make three DWI arrests in a single shift.
Winona County Sheriff’s Deputy Craig Wurzel was named an honorable mention DWI All-Star.
