Search Warrant Leads to Drug Arrest of Winona Woman

WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-A search warrant led to the drug arrest of a Winona woman Tuesday morning.

The Winona Police Department says officers, assisted by the Winona County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on the 250 block of Jackson St. as part of an ongoing controlled substance investigation. Authorities say officers recovered approximately 31 grams of suspected marijuana, approximately 2 grams of suspected cocaine, approximately 1500 individual pills of suspected ecstasy, numerous items of drug paraphernalia, and approximately $6,900 in cash.

32-Year-old Angela Marie Stone was brought to the Winona County Jail on suspicion of 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance. Police say Stone admitted to ownership of the drugs.
