WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Winona County Health and Human Services will host a pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Winona Farmers Market on Saturday.

Health officials will offer doses of the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, along with Pfizer boosters for eligible populations. The Moderna shots are available to anyone ages 18 and older and people ages 12 and older are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine.

The county is encouraging families of 12 to 17-year-olds to take advantage of the state’s newest vaccine incentive “Kids Deserve a Shot Too,” which offers $200 gift cards and a chance at a $100,000 college scholarship to kids who get both shots before Nov. 30.

State vaccine data shows nearly 59% of Winona County residents ages 12 and older have gotten at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.  The shots will be available throughout the entirety of the market which runs from 7:30 a.m. until noon.
