MOUNT VERNON TWP., Minn. (KWNO)- The Winona County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested a motorist after he collided with a tractor in Winona County on Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies responded to the vehicle and tractor crash along County Rd. 28. Authorities say a motorist was following a northbound tractor when he swerved in an attempt to avoid hitting the tractor at a tight curve.
Authorities say the motorist then over-correct and hit the side of the tractor, which resulted in both parties coming to rest in the ditch on the right-hand side of the road. The vehicle driver was charged with gross misdemeanor DWI.
Authorities say no one was injured.
