The Winona County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect was slowed by stop sticks, took off on foot, and was apprehended and booked into the Winona County jail.
The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Department was involved in two pursuits. The first happened Wednesday afternoon in Alma and ended north of Cochrane with an arrest thanks to stopping sticks deployed by deputies.
The second happened around 4 A.M. Wednesday when a pursuit initiated by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office tore through Buffalo County. That chase continued eastward out of Buffalo County and ended with an arrest in Clark County.
The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Department worked with the Alma and Mondovi Police Departments and the sheriff’s offices of Trempealeau, Pepin, and Pierce Counties. Law enforcement from Wabasha also assisted.
