(KWNO)-The Winona County Sheriff’s Office suspects alcohol was a contributing factor in a UTV crash that injured one over the weekend.
Deputies responded to the crash at the 15,000 block of County Rd. 25 Sunday evening. Authorities say 58-year-old Brian Goodroad of Winona was attempting to back the UTV down a hill when he hit a rut and caused the vehicle to tip and land on its top.
Goodroad was hospitalized for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger with Goodroad was not hurt.
Investigators say they obtained a blood draw warrant after Goodroad refused a DWI test.
