WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-The Winona County Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention (ASAP) is offering prizes to local high school students to make the most of the remainder of their summer.
The Summer End Challenge awards prizes to participants who paddle the big lake for 45 minutes, read a book from the Winona Public Library’s summer reading list, climb the Levee Park boulders, or complete 18 holes at the Willow Disc Golf Course.
ASAP Pregaming Coordinator Phillip Huerta says those who complete a challenge or challenges will gain entry to a weekly drawing for larger prizes from Noah’s Ark Water Park, the Winona 7, Jimmy Jams, and Wrapzone. Huerta says the drawings will happen every Friday.
The event runs from August 2 through August 27. Registration is required.
