(KWNO) The Winona Winhawk softball team fell in the 3A state championship game, losing to 4-0 to Becker. St. Charles also finished runner up, losing the 2A state title game to LeSure Henderson 7-4.

(KWNO) The Twins salvaged a win from their 3 games set at the Seattle Mariners, winning 7-2 last night. Jorge Polanco went 3 for 5 and scored 3 of the Twins’ seven runs. Twins plated four runs in the 5th, three coming from the bat of DH Nelson Cruz. Caleb Thielbar picked up the win, giving up one run and striking out four in two innings. Twins are idle today before playing their first game at the new Texas Rangers ballpark tomorrow night.

(KWNO) The Bucks need a win to force a Game 7 against Brooklyn tonight in Milwaukee. The Nets took a 3 games to 2 series lead thanks to a triple-Double from Kevin Durant, who totaled 49 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists, in the Nets a 114-108 Game 5 victory. The Bucks have yet to lose a home game in the playoffs. The tip-off is 7:30 pm.

(Learfield) Vikings Head coach Mike Zimmer says he is generally pleased with his team’s attitude during these offseason workouts and he likes the progress they are making as the team continues their mandatory minicamp. He says having in-person practices is better than the virtual sessions they were forced to hold last summer. Tomorrow is the final day of the minicamp.
