WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Winona Health physicians can now go into homes of residents on Medicare to administer the COVID-19 vaccine.
President/CEO Rachelle Schultz says it’s part of a broader push to connect residents in rural areas, who may face mobility issues, to the vaccine. Schultz says Winona Health has two providers who are ready and willing to go out and administer the shot.
“If anybody does need that, they can for sure give us a call at Primary Care and Family Medicine and we’ll get [the vaccine] out to you,” said Schultz.
The phone number for Primary Care and Family Medicine is 507.457.7648
