City Council to Take Up Reduced Liquor License Fees

WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)- The Winona City Council is scheduled to take up a motion that reduces city liquor fees for 2021.  

City staff, citing continued restrictions for bar and restaurant capacity, is proposing a 10% reduction of liquor fees for the 2021-22 license term and to extend the payment plan, as they did for the previous term. The fee reduction is estimated to cost $12,500.  

The council will meet on Monday at 6:30 p.m.
