WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Winona County Public Health will hold an appointment-only COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Thursday, April 15.

The clinic takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the East End Rec. Center in Winona. It’s open to all Winona County residents and workers ages 18 and older.

Health officials are asking those interested in getting a shot to make sure they’re available for their second dose on May 13. Winona County Emergency Management Coordinator Ben Klinger says the federal allocation to Minnesota was lowered but the county still got 800 doses for this week thanks to 600 doses being rerouted to Winona County from a northwestern Minnesota county.

Officials will distribute the Moderna vaccine. To sign up for a vaccine appointment, click here or call 507-457-6375.
