WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)- The Winona County Sheriff’s Office says deputies recovered weapons, drugs, and drug paraphernalia during an arrest of three burglary suspects Saturday night.
Deputies were dispatched to the 34,000 block of Pleasant Point Dr. to respond to a suspicious vehicle report. Authorities arrested three Winona residents on suspicion of 3rd-degree burglary.
During the arrest, officials say one suspect was in possession of a handgun, knife, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Another suspect was also caught with marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Law enforcement officials say the person in possession of the handgun did not have a permit to carry it. The three subjects were suspected of a burglary of an unoccupied motorhome and shed in the area of the arrest.
