WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)- The Winona Main Street Program and Teamsters Local 120 distributed 2,400 food boxes and 2,400 gallons of milk at a food giveaway over the weekend.
That’s according to Teamsters Organizer Paul Slattery. At 30 pounds per box, organizers gave out 72,000 pounds of food.
Slattery says there is a great need for food in the Winona area and beyond. The event was held at Island City Brewing Company.
