(KWNO)- Winona County Public Health is holding a vaccine clinic today.
Public Health Supervisor Melanie Tatge told KWNO this morning the eligible populations for an appointment are:
-Individuals Over 65
– Pre-k through 12th Grade Educators (Proof of Employment Required)
– Childcare Providers (Proof of Employment Required)
– Health Care Workers (Proof of Employment Required)
– First Responders (Proof of Employment Required)
– Food Processing Facilities Employees (Proof of Employment Required)
– Individuals ages 16 to 18 years and older who:
o Have Sickle Cell
o Have Down Syndrome
o Are receiving Active Cancer Treatment
o Are Immunocompromised due to receiving an Organ Transplant
o Are Oxygen-Dependent
o Have Chronic Lung or Heart Conditions
– People with Rare Conditions or Disabilities that put them at Higher Risk.
– Unpaid Caregivers
Anyone seeking an appointment must reside in Winona County. Appointments can be scheduled by clicking here or by calling 507-457-6375.
Health officials are asking residents not listed in the groups above to not try and book an appointment. Vaccinators will be administering the Moderna vaccine.
