(KWNO)- An Independence man is behind bars for allegedly robbing an Arcadia gas station at gunpoint Sunday afternoon.
Arcadia Police say they were called to the Express Mart by the panic alarm and a 911 caller from inside of the store. The caller said a man, later identified as 34-year-old Michael W. Andre pointed a gun at the clerk and fled the store with $100 in cash.
Andre was later stopped by the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office and arrested without incident. Authorities say items in Andre’s vehicle matched the ones used to conduct the robbery.
