County Health to Begin Setting Vaccine Appointments for Residents 65 and Older

By TJ Mar 2, 2021 | 9:38 AM

(KWNO)- Winona County Public Health announced they will begin setting up vaccination appointments for residents ages 65 and older Monday.

Health officials will randomly select names from their list, a list from local health providers, and a list from the state. Late last month, the county set up a waiting list for eligible residents interested in getting vaccinated against COVID-19.

Health officials advise residents on the lists to be on the lookout for their call. They say callers will not ask for any financial information.

Public Health Supervisor, Melanie Tatge explained, “We have several clinics this week at different locations around the county and we are using lists to call people over the age of 65 so they can get registered and get vaccinated.”
