(KWNO)- Starting Monday, March 1, the Winona County Sheriff’s Office will no longer accept permits to carry via US mail.
Those wishing to apply for a permit to carry must do so at the Winona County Law Enforcement Center. The sheriff’s office also will not accept checks for the application starting March 1.
The fee payment will be cash only. Anyone with questions can call 507-457-6368.
