(KWNO)- As students throughout the state return to in-person learning, the Minnesota Department of Health is out with new guidelines.
MDH is encouraging students ages 12 and above to get tested for COVID-19 regularly. Winona Area Public Schools Communications Coordinator John Casper told KWNO the district doesn’t have a testing program within the district but is encouraging families to take advantage of testing options within the community.
COVID-19 testing is available at the Winona Mall, Winona Health, and Hy-Vee. Casper said the district is especially encouraging older students in sports and clubs to frequently get tested.
