(KWNO)- More than $40,000 in cash was stolen from a camper parked off Hanson Valley Road. According to the Winona County Sheriff’s Office, the money was stored in a lunch box in the unsecured camper. The camper was not owned by the victim, but the victim had “trusted the money with a friend who owns the camper,” according to WCSO. The case is open and active; the victim and camper owner have not identified any suspects.
