WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Staffing shortages have forced many summer activity providers to cut back on the number of people they can accept into their programs.
That’s not the case for the Winona Family YMCA, says Sports and Camps Director Alex Brown says the Y has been able to increase its capacity for summer programming participants.
“I have a good core staff so I’m really looking forward to seeing how they all work together this summer,” Brown said. “I’m feeling good which is amazing because I know there are so many places that are struggling.”
Registration for the Y’s Camp Wenonah is open with the first camping week scheduled from June 13-17.
